I founded Broadway Design Build to provide high end, custom home design and construction services. Broadway was molded to solve for problems and frustrations I faced as a client myself during my 7 years as a Real Estate Developer. I am passionate about excellence in design and trustworthy construction.
It sounds so simple yet it’s so hard to execute, I really want my clients to enjoy the process. That is what I strive for on every project.

How we started
Broadway Design Build was founded by Laryssa Stecyk. For seven years she was the design and construction lead of Artemis Investments, a Bay Area real estate development company that she co-founded. During that time she saw that homeowners were often overwhelmed by the prospect of bringing their visions to life. The Bay Area brings unique challenges when it comes to finding property, securing permits, and managing multiple vendors across every stage of the home creation journey. After several successful projects with Artemis, Laryssa saw an opportunity to help clients on that journey in a new way that eliminates stress and makes room for more joy and excitement, and Broadway Design Build was born.

About our founder
Laryssa Stecyk brings East Coast rigor to West Coast cool with her unique perspective on the design-build process. She is both a licensed general contractor in the state of California as well as a seasoned designer. Laryssa is highly attuned to her clientele and drives every project forward with a passion to create beautiful spaces that are constructed well. From 2013-2020, Laryssa was acting President of two successful real estate development companies in the competitive Bay Area market: 585 Ventures and Artemis Investments, which she co-founded. Both focused on residential redevelopment and income properties. Her design vision has brought stunning, custom properties to life that have routinely sold at historically high prices.
Laryssa obtained her Masters in Architecture and Landscape Architecture from Cornell University and worked for a prolific 5 years in the industry when she relocated to the Bay Area from Boston. She worked with some of the most prestigious firms in the country including MVVA, TLS Studio, Michael Maltzan and Martha Schwartz. Some of the well known projects she worked on include; Salesforce campus development in San Francisco, George W. Bush Presidential Library, Harvard University Kennedy School redevelopment, St. Petersburg Pier, Stanford Medical School campus and Alexandria Center in Cambridge.
Outside of the construction site, she can be found hiking or cycling in the Bay Area.
